Migration
If you go to Google and search for the definition of migration, you will definitely find an explanation. But this definiton doesn't cover all the dangers, mental stress and tragedies that go with it.
There are many reasons why people choose to take on such a hazardous journey. For example, migrants experience war and suppression in their home country. They flee in order to be able to have more freedom. But this doesn't have to be the case. People might want to leave their country because they aren't happy there. This leads them to migrate to a different country, where they believe to be happier. Put simply, migration has various causes, from fleeing because of suppression, to personal preferences.
Migration means a lot of change, not only for migrants, but also for the inhabitants of a country. The migrants might experience something called a culture-shock. The migrants come into contact with different traditions, which aren’t present in their home country. They might need some time adjusting to these customs. The inhabitants of a country might be influenced by prejudices, and not like the customs of the migrants which they bring with them. This could lead to the migrants being outcasts in the community.
